Musharaka Capital Co. announced the inclusion of Musharaka REIT Fund in FTSE EPRA Nareit Global Real Estate Index Series, which is specialized in REITs and real-estate companies, according to a bourse filing on Wednesday.
FTSE EPRA is designed to represent general trends in eligible real estate equities worldwide.
The inclusion is expected to have a positive impact on the fund, including attracting foreign investors interested in REIT funds. It will also increase the investors’ base in the funds included to the index.
In June 2019, the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) announced the inclusion of Tadawul-listed securities in the FTSE EPRA.
