The official Inception Event of G20 2020 Riyadh summit begins today, Jan.15, 2020, and will be held until Jan. 17, 2020.
As the voice of the private sector to the G20, The Business Twenty (B20) will represent the global business community across all G20 member states and economic sectors.
The 3-day event will host up to 400 global business leaders and experts.
“The group is committed to enhance inclusiveness and working in a distinctive way, so recommendations could achieve a tangible impact on the future needs,” Yousef Al Benyan, Chair of B20 Saudi Arabia, said.
He added that the main themes of the summit will include digitization; energy; sustainability and climate; finance and infrastructure; trade and investment; integrity and compliance; and the future of work and education.
It is worth noting that Saudi Arabia assumed the G20 Presidency on Dec. 1, 2019, going up to the Leaders’ Summit in Riyadh on Nov. 21-22, 2020.
