Saudi Cable Co. approved the decision of the Zakat & tax violations committee at the General Authority of Zakat & Tax (GAZT), to settle Zakat claims from 2005 until the end of 2012 worth SAR 65.8 million.
Accordingly, shareholders’ equity will increase by SAR 32.8 million, the company said in a bourse statement on Sunday.
The amount due will be disclosed later in the financial statements, the statement added.
