Adhesive specialist Bostik announced its plans to start its first production unit for flooring systems in Saudi Arabia, in partnership with Gerflor Middle East.
Bostik is a unit of Arkema, a specialty chemicals and advanced materials company headquartered in Paris.
The announcement was made during the signing of a manufacturing and distribution agreement between Bostik and Gerflor and the kick-off event for the first production unit in Saudi Arabia.
Both Bostik and Gerflor will support the development of their customers in the region by providing high-quality solutions, technical and logistics services, it said in a statement.
"We have launched a new initiative One Flooring Range with the ambition to supply solutions that are tailor-made to the professionals and consumers’ needs," Morgan Malecotte, Global Steering Unit Director, Wall & Floor System at Bostik, said.
