The Company for Cooperative Insurance (Tawuniya) signed an agreement with Fawaz Abdulaziz Alhokair Co. (Alhokair) to provide health insurance coverage for its employees and their families.
The medical coverage commenced on Feb. 1, 2020, for nearly 15,000 employees of Alhokair, the insurer said in a statement.
According to the agreement, new employees and their families will be added to the health insurance throughout the validity of coverage period.
The coverage includes the treatment costs in outpatient clinics and hypnosis; chronic diseases without a waiting period; emergency cases while the insured is outside the Kingdom (either on a vacation or a business trip); pregnancy and childbirth expenses; in addition to other benefits.
