Saudi Arabia will gradually begin a new phase to curb the spread of the coronavirus pandemic in the Kingdom as of Thursday, May 28, Minister of Health Tawfiq Al-Rabiah said in a speech on Monday.
A clear vision was developed for the next phase based on two indicators; the capacity of accommodating critical cases and the policy of expanding testing and early detection.
“We move from one phase into another, based on an accurate health assessment that helps us speed up out steps to review our approach when necessary,” Al-Rabiah added.
The Kingdom will gradually implement the upcoming phase as of Thursday, until returning to normal conditions based on social distancing, he concluded.
