Saudia to resume domestic flights on May 31

Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) is set to resume domestic flights as of Sunday, May 31, 2020, as the Kingdom announced easing COVID-19 measures, the Kingdom's national airline said in a statement.

Saudia will accordingly coordinate with the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) to gradually lift the suspension implemented to curb the spread of the pandemic.

Sixty flights will be resumed daily in the first phase in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Al-Madina, Qassim, Abha, Tabuk, Jizan, Hail, Al Baha, Najran, in addition to domestic flights in King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA).

International flights to repatriate nationals stranded abroad will also continue.

Saudi Arabia suspended international and domestic flights in March in response to the COVID-19 precautionary measures.
