The Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development announced lifting of attendance suspension at the main offices for private sector employees, and keeping the number of employees in branches and offices to the minimum.
The suspension has been in place since March 17, 2020, in line with the government’s precautionary measures to curb the spread of coronavirus.
All private entities will ensure that workplaces fully comply with the preventive measures adopted by the Ministry of Health.
According to data compiled by Argaam, the Saudi Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Ahmed Al-Rajhi, said the public sector employees will gradually return to workplaces in all government agencies and offices as of Sunday, May 31.
Starting from May 31, at least 50% of employees will return to workplaces, 75% will return as of June 7, 2020, and 100% will return by June 14, 2020.
On May 26, Saudi Arabia decided to ease the lockdown across the kingdom, including reducing curfews, allowing prayers, and resuming flights to normal.
