Al-Ahli Takaful Co. announced today the appointment of Omar Mohammed Hashem as non-executive board member, representing the National Commercial Bank.
The insurer said in a bourse statement that this follows a no-objection from the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) on May 23, 2020 and the board of directors' resolution on May 13, 2020.
Hashem’s appointment is subject to the approval of the general assembly, and will be effective from May 23 until the end of the board current term on July 31, 2022.
He has over 20 years of experience and holds a bachelor’s degree in Information & Computer Science from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Dhahran.
