Southern Province Cement Co.'s board of directors approved the resignation of Chief Executive Officer, Safar Dhufayer upon his request, the company said in a bourse filing.
The cement producer's board of directors also named Aqeel Kadasah to replace Dhufayer as of today, July 12, 2020.
Kadasah has 25 years of experience and was appointed in the company in 1997. He held several positions in Al Yamama Cement Co. and Saudi Electricity Co. (SEC), the statement added.
