Saudis represent 74.3% of employees in insurance companies in 2019

Saudi Arabia’s insurance companies reported a 4% decline year-on-year (YoY) in the number of employees to 11,210 in 2019, compared to 11,730 in 2018, the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) said in its insurance report for 2019.

The number of Saudi nationals working in the insurance companies increased to 74.3%, or 8,334, of total workforce by the end of 2019, compared to 72.3% in 2018.

Meanwhile, the number of non-Saudis declined 11% YoY, reaching 2,879 over the same period.
