Saudi Arabia records 498 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday

Saudi Arabia recorded 498 new COVID-19 cases today, Sept. 24, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 331,857, the Ministry of Health said.

Recoveries reached 1,007, raising the total number of recovered cases to 314,793 (95% of total COVID-19 cases).

The Kingdom reported 30 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 4,599.

Active cases totaled 12,465, of which 1,090 cases are critical.

Jeddah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 53, followed by Hufuf (50), Makkah (46), Dammam (38) and Riyadh with 36.

The Kingdom conducted 46,037 new tests, bringing up the total number of tests to 6.24 million.
