Saudi Arabia records 539 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday

Saudi Arabia recorded 539 new COVID-19 cases today, Sept. 29, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 334,187, the Ministry of Health said.

Recoveries reached 696, raising the total number of recovered cases to 318,542 (representing 95% of total recorded cases).

The Kingdom reported 27 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 4,739.

Active cases totaled 10,906, of which 1,005 cases are critical.

Jeddah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 61, followed by Makkah (53), Al Madinah (46), and Al Hofuf and Riyadh with 35 cases each.

The Kingdom conducted 51,676 new tests, bringing up the total number of tests to 6.44 million.
