Credit facilities extended to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) rose by 52% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 176.2 billion in Q3 2020, data from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) showed.
Banks accounted for SAR 165 billion worth of credit facilities, or 94% of total financing. Facilities given by financing institutions stood at SAR 11.2 billion, or 6% of total credit facilities.
