Saudi Arabia offers support of accounting jobs at 30-50% of salaries, Al Ekhbariya reported, citing Nasser Al-Hazzani, spokesperson of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD).
The government support is aimed at maintaining the labor market stability and national cadres in the private sector entities, Al-Hazzani added.
Ahmad Al-Rajhi, Minister of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD), issued a decision on Dec. 23, 2020, to Saudize 30% of the accounting jobs, Argaam reported.
The decision, to be effective as of Dhu al-Qi'dah 1, 1442 AH (June 12, 2021), is applicable to all local private entities with at least five accounting professionals.
The move aims to provide more than 9,800 job opportunities.
