Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication Co. (GO) said that Issa Abbas Issa Al Sebaa was appointed as a member of the board of directors (non-executive) representing Batelco, effective Jan.1, 2021.
Al Sebaa was appointed by a letter from the chairman of Batelco’s board to replace Ihab Anwar Hanna Hennawi.
The new member will complete the remaining period in the current board term, which will end on October 25, 2023.
Al Sebaa has extensive corporate finance and M&A expertise with the benefit of over a decade of experience in investment banking and private equity, the company said in a bourse statement.
