Southern Province Cement Co.'s board of directors approved appointing Hamad Al-Bazai as chairman and Mohammed Al-Nabat as vice chairman for the three-year term starting from Jan. 1, 2021, the company said in a bourse statement.
Saud Al-Bargan was also appointed as secretary, the statement added.
Moreover, the board gave the go-ahead for the formation of the remuneration and nomination committee as well as the executive, investment and audit committees.
The company's representatives in the Capital Market Authority (CMA) and Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) were appointed.
Shareholders approved the election of new board members during the ordinary general meeting held on Dec. 24, according to data compiled by Argaam.
