Saudi Vitrified Clay Pipes Co. (SVCP) submitted price quotes for several projects in Qatar a few days ago, Managing Director Saad Al Sayari, told Argaam in an exclusive.
“We are not yet sure whether they needed price quotes to compare them with alternative pipe products or they prefer the specifications and quality of our products. Meanwhile, SVCP had earlier supplied pipes to various projects in Qatar. We now need to complete the projects in the Qatari market,” Al Sayari said.
Moreover, he estimated the company’s previous market share of liquid and sewage pipes in Qatar at almost 60%, and of vitrified clay pipes at 100%.
SVCP’s exports to GCC countries exceeded SAR 52.4 million in 2017, compared to SAR 143 million in 2016.
