Saudi Arabia records 140 COVID-19 cases on Saturday

Saudi Arabia recorded 140 COVID-19 cases today, Jan. 16, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 364,753, the Ministry of Health stated.

Recoveries reached 159, raising the total number of recovered cases to 356,541 (98% of total COVID-19 cases).

Active cases totaled 1,894, of which 321 cases are critical.

The Kingdom reported five new deaths, with the death toll standing at 6,318.

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 58, followed by Makkah (28), Eastern Province (26) and Asir (9).
