Saudi Cable Co. appointed Meyassar Anwar Nowailati as chairman of the board of directors and Mahmoud Mansour Abdulqafar as vice chairman, the firm said in a statement to Tadawul today, Jan. 21.
The decision came during the company’s ordinary general assembly meeting (OGM) held on Jan. 13, 2021, where the board of directors was elected for the new three-year term, starting Jan. 14, 2021.
The meeting also approved the formation of the nomination and remunerations committees, with Mahmoud Mansour Abdulqafar as chairman of the committee. Other members include Ali Mohammed Al Attas, Meyassar Anwar Nowailati, and Abdulrahman Ibrahim Al Kayal.
Meanwhile, Bassem Abdulrahim Saati was appointed board secretary.
The company also appointed the representatives at Capital Market Authority (CMA) and Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul).
The formation of the audit committee and all resolutions related to it will be resolved by the OGM, according to the new companies' law, the statement said.
