Leejam Sports Co. (Fitness Time) announced that all its sports centers in Saudi Arabia will be closed as of 10 pm today, Feb. 14, 2021, for a period of 20 days, which might be extended.
The company said in a bourse statement that it is in the process of evaluating the financial impact of the closure of its centers.
Leejam will make announcements about any further developments in this regard in due course.
Meanwhile, the company will continue, through various means of communication, to raise fitness and wellness awareness and encourage exercising from home.
Saudi Ministry of Interior extended the COVID-19 restrictions on gatherings, events and dining services starting today, Feb. 14, for 20 more days, Argaam reported.
On Feb. 4, Leejam closed all its sports centers in Saudi Arabia for 10 days.
