Sadr Logistics appoints Abdulrahman Al-Hadlaq as CEO, Bandar Al-Samaani as managing director

Sadr Logistics Co. appointed Abdulrahman bin Ibrahim Al-Hadlaq as chief executive officer (CEO), starting today, March 15, 2021, succeeding the former CEO, Bandar bin Mohamed Al-Samaani, the company said in a bourse statement.

The appointment was based on the recommendation of the remuneration and nominations committee.

Al-Hadlaq previously held the position of deputy CEO of Sadr Logistics and was a member of the company's audit committee. He also held many leadership positions, such as the CEO of Abdulrahman Al-Shaalan Sons Co., a closed joint stock company, and board member for a number of companies, the statement added.

In a separate statement, Sadr Logistics announced appointing Al-Samaani as managing director based on the recommendation of the remuneration and nomination committee, effective today, March 15, 2021, until the end of the current board term on Sept. 15, 2021.

He stepped down as CEO to hold a position of the managing director, the company added.

Al-Samaani is one of the founders of Sadr Logistics (previously known as Al-Samaani Factory for Metal Industries Co.) and held the position of CEO for more than 20 years.

He has distinguished leadership competencies and a diverse experience of over 20 years in the fields of investment, industry, business development and corporate transformation.
