Saudi Arabia recorded 902 COVID-19 cases today, April 8, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 395,854, the Ministry of Health stated.

Recoveries reached 469, raising the total number of recovered cases to 381,658 (97% of total COVID-19 cases).

The Kingdom reported nine new deaths, with the death toll standing at 6,728.

Active cases totaled 7,468, of which 874 cases are critical.

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 402, followed by Makkah (163), Eastern Province (155), Asir (36) and Madinah (26).

The Kingdom conducted 71,946 new tests, bringing up the total number to 15.61 million.

More than 5.7 million doses have been administered to people in the Kingdom to date.
