Saudi cash
As many as 109 chief executives and board members were on the list of the highest-paid executives working for Saudi-listed firms in 2020, data compiled by Argaam showed.
The list was led by Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Co. (Al Othaim), United International Transportation Co. (Budget Saudi), Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SRMG), Red Sea International, and Saudi Automotive Services Co. (SASCO).
Al Othaim CEO Abdulaziz Abdullah Al Othaim topped the list with SAR 6.46 million compensation by the end of 2020, an increase of SAR 0.82 million from the previous year.
Budget Saudi CEO Fawaz Danish came second, with salaries, allowances and bonuses amounting to SAR 6.30 million in 2020.
SRMG chairman Abdul Rahman Ibrahim Al Rowaitea received SAR 6.24 million in 2020 as bonuses and allowances, including SAR 6 million as chairman remunerations.
The ranking, which is measured by salaries and bonuses, is not comprehensive as only some companies disclose detailed information on executive compensation.
