Saudi Arabia records 942 COVID-19 cases on Sunday

Saudi Arabia recorded 942 COVID-19 cases today, May 9, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 426,384, the Ministry of Health stated.

Recoveries reached 1,064, raising the total number of recovered cases to 409,740 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

Active cases totaled 9,572, of which 1,336 cases are critical.

The Kingdom reported 13 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 7,072.

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 334, followed by Makkah (286), Eastern Province (112), Asir (50) and Madinah (40).

The Kingdom conducted 67,980 new tests, bringing up the total number to 17.53 million.

More than 10.50 million doses have been administered to people in the Kingdom to date.
