Saudi Arabia records 1,245 COVID-19 cases on Monday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,245 COVID-19 cases today, May 31, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 450,436, the Ministry of Health stated.

Recoveries reached 1,275, raising the total number of recovered cases to 433,413 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

Active cases totaled 9,661, of which 1,438 cases are critical.

The Kingdom reported 15 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 7,362.

Makkah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 428, followed by Riyadh (313), Eastern Province (155), Madinah (99), Asir (74) and Jazan (56).

Saudi Arabia concluded 92,460 new tests, bringing the total number of laboratory tests to 19.21 million.

Almost 14.13 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the Kingdom to date.
