Saudi Arabia records 1,251 COVID-19 cases on Tuesday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,251 COVID-19 cases today, June 1, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 451,687, the Ministry of Health stated.

Recoveries reached 1,026, raising the total number of recovered cases to 434,439 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

Active cases totaled 9,871, of which 1,443 cases are critical.

The Kingdom reported 15 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 7,377.

Makkah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 367, followed by Riyadh (349), Eastern Province (148), Asir (88), Madinah (87), and Jazan (55).

Saudi Arabia concluded 92,430 new tests, bringing the total number of laboratory tests to 19.31 million.

Almost 14.26 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the Kingdom to date.
