Saudi Arabia records 984 COVID-19 cases on Sunday

Saudi Arabia recorded 984 COVID-19 cases today, June 6, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 457,546, the Ministry of Health stated.

Recoveries reached 1,185, raising the total number of recovered cases to 440,644 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

Active cases totaled 9,446, of which 1,545 cases are critical.

The Kingdom reported 16 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 7,456.

Makkah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 349, followed by Riyadh (210), Eastern Province (140), Madinah (73), Asir (61), and Jazan (59).

Saudi Arabia concluded 73,960 new tests, bringing the total number of laboratory tests to 19.75 million.

Almost 14.88 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the Kingdom to date.
