Saudi Electricity Co.'s (SEC) board of directors approved today, June 7, 2021, the resignation of Fahad Al-Sudairi as the chief executive officer (CEO), effective immediately, due to personal reasons.
The board delegated the CEO's responsibilities to Khaled bin Hamad Al-Gnoon, starting today until further notice, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.
Al-Gnoon has over three decades of experience in multiple positions at SEC and is a member of the boards of directors of local bodies and committees. He holds Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degrees.
