Saudi Arabia records 1,269 COVID-19 cases on Tuesday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,269 COVID-19 cases today, June 15, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 468,175, the Ministry of Health stated.

Recoveries reached 1,014, raising the total number of recovered cases to 450,255 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

Active cases totaled 10,314, of which 1,569 cases are critical.

The Kingdom reported 16 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 7,606.

Makkah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 402, followed by Riyadh (262), Eastern Province (186), Asir (105), Madinah (79) and Jazan (77).

Saudi Arabia concluded 87,880 new tests, bringing the total number of laboratory tests to 20.53 million.

Almost 16.02 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the Kingdom to date.
