Saudi Arabia records 1,236 COVID-19 cases on Friday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,236 COVID-19 cases today, June 18, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 471,959, the Ministry of Health stated.

Recoveries reached 1,050, raising the total number of recovered cases to 453,259

(96% of total COVID-19 cases). 

The Kingdom reported 15 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 7,635.

Active cases totaled 11,050, of which 1,496 cases are critical. 

Makkah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 372, followed by Riyadh (240), Eastern Province (213), Asir (115) and Jazan (89).
