United Electronics Co. (eXtra) announced the opening of a branch in Al Rayan district, Ad Dawadmi city, bringing the total number of stores in Saudi Arabia to 46, according to a bourse filing.
Currently, the total number of the company’s stores in the GCC stands at 51.
Worth SAR 5 million, the new store will span 1,000 square meters (sqm). The financial impact will begin in Q3 2021.
“The new store will strengthen our footprint to expand in new places across the Kingdom,” Mohamed Galal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), said in the statement.
“The company’s expansion strategy works according to clear understanding of customer needs and aims to offer premium customer experience in the consumer electronics world, through new stores opening or via continued development of the e-commerce platform,” he added.
