Raydan Food Co. opened a franchise branch in Cairo, Egypt, today, Aug. 8, the company said in a filing to Tadawul.
In June, Raydan signed a franchise agreement, registered under the "Raydan" trademark, with franchise agent Golden Star Est for Ready Meals in Cairo, Egypt.
The contract is valued at SAR 113,000 ($30,000) in franchise fees, in addition to a percentage of 6% of total sales, the firm said, adding that the contract period is five years, subject to renewal, Argaam earlier reported.
