Saudi Contractors Authority issued a “contractor evaluation initiative”, in line with the authority’s strategy, which aims at boosting transparency in the contracting sector, according to a statement.
The initiative enables the building of an electronic database containing the contractor’s evaluation with accurate and reliable standards in cooperation with the concerned authorities. It will also create opportunities for contractors to highlight their excellence in the implementation of projects in their specializations, which will allow a fair competitiveness of the sector and contribute in raising its quality.
The evaluation criteria will include quality, schedule, environment, health and safety value, communication, responsiveness and compliance.
