Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Co. (AWPT) received, on Aug. 16, an operation and maintenance contract for Hail Al Hamemah water treatment plant from the Ministry of Environment, Water & Agriculture, worth SAR 42.88 million.
The company said in a bourse statement that it will carry out works related to the operation and maintenance at the water treatment plant in Hail Al Hamemah for 36 months.
There are no related parties to the contract.
AWPT expects the financial impact and the period that the project will reflect on to begin from the third quarter of 2021.
The award is considered the fourth consecutive award for the company to operate and maintain Al Hamemah water treatment plant after submitting the best commercial and technical offer, and has been performing these works since 2011.
The contract signing will be announced once the fully executed contract is received by AWPT.
