Al Sagr Cooperative Insurance Co. said it was unable to disclose its financial results for the six-month period ended June 30, 2021, within the specified time.
The company said in a bourse statement today, Aug. 22, that it is still in process of appointing an auditor to examine and audit its financial statements for Q2, Q3 and Q4 2021, as well as the first quarter of 2022.
The insurer expected to disclose its financial statements by the end of September.
The relevant financial impact cannot be currently estimated but any financial impact will be disclosed duly, Al Sagr noted.
The procedures for trading suspension of listed securities will apply to the company’s shares, according to the listing rules approved by the Capital Market Authority (CMA) and Tadawul, the statement added.
