Saudi Arabia records 353 COVID-19 cases on Tuesday

Saudi Arabia recorded 353 COVID-19 cases today, Aug. 24, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 542,707, the Ministry of Health stated.

Recoveries reached 456, raising the total number of recovered cases to 529,833 (97% of total COVID-19 cases).

Active cases totaled 4,377, of which 1,108 cases are critical.

The Kingdom reported seven new deaths, with the death toll standing at 8,497.

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 72, followed by Makkah (66), Eastern Province (41), Jazan (34), Asir (30), and Madinah (26).

Saudi Arabia concluded 68,960 new tests over the last 24 hours, and the total number of administered doses increased to 34.64 million.
