Ahmed Al-Rajhi, Minister of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD), said that the objectives of the nationalization program for 2021 include more than 213,000 job opportunities for citizens, Saudi Press Agency reported.

During a meeting with businessmen and members of Al Jouf Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Al-Rajhi said that the Nitaqat program reduced the number of classified activities to 32 and linked the Saudization rates through an equation, based on the number of workers.

This will facilitate the private sector's interaction with the program and enhance the participation of nationals in the labor market.

The ministry has a serious orientation towards digital transformation, as more than 21,000 operations are currently being carried out via electronic platforms per day, compared to a maximum of 700 operations previously through labor offices.

In light of Vision 2030, HRSD ministry is working to anticipate the future of the labor market, prepare for changes in new work patterns, and launch Future Work Co.

The new company will enable the ministry to launch self-employment platform and issue more than 800,000 freelance documents, as well as create remote work opportunities for more than 52,000 citizens to benefit from the remote work platform.
