Saudi Arabia ranks first as Dubai’s trade partner in Arab region, fourth globally in H1 2021

The volume of Dubai's foreign trade with Saudi Arabia rose by 26% to AED 30.5 billion (SAR 31.2 billion) in H1 2021, compared to AED 24.1 billion in the same period last year, Dubai Customs data showed.

Saudi Arabia ranked fourth among Dubai’s global trading partners, and first in Arab and Gulf regions.

China maintained its position as Dubai’s biggest trading partner in H1 2021, followed by India, the United States, Saudi Arabia, and Switzerland.

Meanwhile, Dubai’s non-oil foreign trade surged 31% year-on-year (YoY) in H1 2021 to AED 722.3 billion.

Gold topped the list of commodities in Dubai's first-half foreign trade, accounting for 19.2% of total trade, followed by telecoms, diamonds, jewelry, and vehicle trade.
