Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Sunday.
1) Bank AlJazira signed real estate finance portfolio protection services agreement and personal finance portfolio protection agreement with AlJazira Takaful Taawuni Co.
2) Taiba Investments Co. awarded the main contractor’s works for its Riyadh hotel project, which will be built on a land owned by its subsidiary, Al Aqeeq Real Estate.
3) Sumou Real Estate Co. acquired an 80% stake in Al Mahafel Trading and Contracting Co. Ltd.
4) Saudi Industrial Services Co. (SISCO) unveiled its new corporate strategy to drive growth and achieve leadership positions in all three of its core segments, namely ports, logistics and water, in the next five years.
5) National Agricultural Marketing Co. (Thimar) was notified by the secretary of financial restructuring that a request was submitted to the court to extend the deadline for the period granted for financial restructuring.
6) Leejam Sports Co. (Fitness Time) opened a new low-cost men Xpress Fitness Center in Riyadh on Oct. 7.
7) Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Co. announced opening a new branch in Makkah, bringing the total number of branches in Saudi Arabia to 262.
8) Brent crude on Friday gained 44 cents to reach $82.39 per barrel (bbl). WTI crude also increased $1.05 to reach $79.35/bbl.
