National Building and Marketing Co. (NBM) said that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Ajeej Steel Manufacturing Co. has commenced trial operations to expand the smelter’s capacity to 100,000 tons annually.
The facility’s production capacity will be boosted by 40%, which will have a positive impact on the company’s sales and operating profit, NBM said in a statement to Tadawul.
The related financial impact is expected to show after the commercial operations, starting from Q1 2022.
