Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Monday.

1) Shareholders of Amana Cooperative Insurance Co. will vote on the merger with Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance Co. during the extraordinary general assembly meeting (EGM) scheduled for Jan. 9, 2022.

2) Abdullah Saad Mohammed Abo Moati for Bookstores Co.’s board of directors reappointed Saad Abo Moati as Chairman of the board of directors and Mohammed Al-Otaibi as Vice Chairman for the three-year term, started Dec. 16, 2021.

3) Sadr Logistics Co.’s rights issue was 98.85% covered, as subscribers injected SAR 148.28 million in 14.83 million new shares.

4) Ataa Educational Co. stated that it recorded a one-off profit worth SAR 52.5 million from acquiring Arabian Education and Training Holding Group.

5) United Electronics Co.’s (eXtra) board of directors approved establishing a wholly-owned subsidiary in Egypt.

6) Saudi Automotive Services Co.'s (SASCO) board of directors approved not to complete the deal signed with Falcom Financial Services to sell some of its sites to the latter.

7) Tihama Advertising and Public Relations Co. said that Nasser bin Saleh Al Sarami filed an appeal against the ruling issued in its favor.

8) Brent crude on Monday declined $1.74 to reach $71.78 per barrel. WTI crude also decreased $1.86 to reach $69./bbl.
