Future Minerals Summit to kick off in Riyadh on Jan. 11

The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources announced the program of Future Minerals Summit 2022, which will be hosted by Riyadh’s King Abdul Aziz International Conference Center from Jan. 11-13, under the patronage of King Salman bin Abdulaziz.

The first-of-its-kind summit in the Middle East, Central Asia, and North and East Africa will tackle several issues, including the reality and future of mining regionally and worldwide, contribution of mining projects to society development, and showcasing mining opportunities across the Kingdom and the region.

The event will be attended by more than 2,000 people from over 100 countries, and 150 major international investors and speakers, including ministers and heads of states, mining majors and corporates.  

Among the summit participants are Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, Minister of Energy; Faisal bin Farhan, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Abdulrahman Al-Fadley, Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture; Khalid Al-Falih, Minister of Investment; Bandar Alkhorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources; Yasir Al-Rumayyan, Governor of Public Investment Fund (PIF); and Khalid Al-Mudaifer, Vice Minister of Mining Affairs.
