Tadawul Group shares rise 52% in nearly 45 days

Shares of Saudi Tadawul Group hit today, Jan. 17, their highest level since listing, at SAR 163.

The stock closed at an increase of 6% at SAR 160, its all-time high closing, amid nearly 2.2 million shares traded.

Accordingly, the stock saw an increase of 52% compared to its listing price of SAR 105.

The company was listed on the Saudi Exchange on Dec. 8, 2021, after offering 36 million shares, representing 30% of the company's capital.

Tadawul Group was established as a Saudi joint stock company in 2007 with a SAR 1.2 billion capital in Riyadh.

The group's core activity is to manage or participate in the management of subsidiaries, invest its funds in stocks and other securities, own real estate and movables necessary to perform its activities, provide loans, guarantees and financing to its subsidiaries, own industrial property rights, and to lease industrial property rights to its subsidiaries or others.

Saudi Tadawul Group also provides securities and security services, which include listing, trading, settlement, clearing, market data, indices, custody and registration services for traded and non-traded securities, after-trading services such as mortgage, general assembly management, electronic voting, corporate procedures, dividend distribution, etc., as well as market solutions and IT solutions.
