Saudi Arabia’s Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) made amendments to the executive regulations of real estate transaction tax, most prominent of which is the degrees of relatives who are included in the exemption from real estate tax, Umm Al-Qura newspaper reported.
The amendments also include the tax payment date with regard to the transactions carried out according to off-plan sales projects, in addition to some other amendments
The amendments are effective from Feb. 18.
