The private sector invested SAR 2.7 for every SAR 1 provided by the government in the field of communications and information technology, Mohammed Altamimi, Governor of Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) said at the ICT Indicators Forum 2022.
This reflects the success of the partnership between the private and public sectors in the sector, he added.
Altamimi also noted that the market value of the telecom companies – stc, Mobile Telecommunication Company Saudi Arabia (Zain KSA), and Etihad Etisalat Co. (Mobily) – increased by more than 70% over the past five years.
