Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud
King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, issued today, May 5, a royal decree on establishing two commissions for the development of Taif and Al-Ahsa regions.
Each commission will have a board of directors whose chairman and members will be appointed by order of the Prime Minister, according to Saudi Press Agency.
The Bureau of Experts at the Council of Ministers will, within a period not exceeding three months from the royal decree date, make the necessary organizational arrangements, including defining the supervisory scope of competence of both commissions, and completing the necessary procedures.
Al-Ahsa Development Commission and Taif Development Commission will be focused on creating qualitative economic investments to maximize the comparative advantages of governorate cities.
The royal decrees included relieving Prince Badr bin Mohamed bin Abdullah bin Jalawi Al Saud, from his position as Al-Ahsa Governor, and appointing Prince Saud bin Talal bin Badr bin Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud as Al-Ahsa Governor.
Prince Saud bin Nahar bin Saud Al Saud was appointed as Taif Governor with excellent rank.
Prince Saud bin Abdulrahman bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al Saud was named as Deputy Governor of the Northern Borders Region with excellent rank.
Furthermore, Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Mansour bin Abdullah bin Jalawi Al Saud was appointed as Jeddah Governor with excellent rank.
