The establishment of a commission for the development of Taif will contribute to achieving a comprehensive, balanced and sustainable development for the province, Saudi Press Agency reported, citing Ahmed Al-Qathami, Mayor of Taif Province.
He added that the move will help map out proper plans for the development projects.
The province has been witnessing comprehensive growth at the tourist and cultural levels, thanks to the limitless support from the Kingdom’s wise government, Al-Qathami said.
The commission will also play a role in developing the necessary programs, foundations, procedures and ways to motivate the participation of the private sector in achieving the development goals as well as implementing projects in the region.
