Dallah Healthcare Co. announced today, June 5, that it amended its contract with Hashem Contracting and Trading Corp., adding some technical developments in the remaining part of Dallah Hospital Al-Nakheel, according to a bourse statement.
The amendments also include developing the interior designs of rooms to be more modern, providing smart systems and supplying the hospital with state-of-the-art technologies and digital solutions to provide patients with premium services.
The contract’s value was increased by SAR 41.4 million, after amending the contract to introduce technical upgrades to the remaining part of the main building, the healthcare services provider said.
A smooth workflow inside the hospital was considered during the contract execution period, Dallah added, noting that the previous technical developments in parts of the main building announced on March 21, 2021, were completed.
The relevant financial impact is expected to appear when the project is complete, as such renovations will likely improve the services provided to patients. This, accordingly, will lead to increasing the number of inpatients and revenue.
The project was 45% complete as per the schedule stated in the amended contract, Dallah said, adding that the project is expected to be finalized on March 20, 2023.
In March 2021, the Tadawul-listed firm signed a contract worth SAR 58.4 million with Hashem Contracting for technical developments in the main building of Dallah Hospital Al-Nakheel, according to data available with Argaam.
