The Mediterranean and Gulf Insurance and Reinsurance Co.’s (MEDGULF) board of directors decided, on June 15, to reappoint Rakan Abunayyan as board Chairman (non-executive), and appoint Youssef Al Yousefi as a Vice Chairman (independent) for the current board term started on May 8, 2022.
The board approved the formation of the executive, nomination and remuneration, risk as well as investment committees.
The executive committee includes Abdulmajed Al-Meshaal as Chairman, and Muhannad Al Rasheed and Rakan Abunayyan as members.
Nominations and remunerations committee comprises Youssef Al Yousefi as Chairman, and Ahmed bin Ahmed, Abdurrahman Al-Rawaf and Rob Hendriks as members.
Meanwhile, the risk committee will be chaired by Monirah Al-Swaydani, with Faisal Al-Jasser and Abdulaziz Al-Zamam as members.
Investment committee will have Abdulmajed Al-Meshaal as Chairman, and Abdulrahman Al-Rawaf and Youssef Al Yousefi as members.
Elsewhere, the board approved appointing Mohammed Al Oyaidi as audit committee’s Chairman, and Ahmed bin Ahmed as member. This decision will be presented to the upcoming ordinary general assembly for approval.
Moreover, the formation of the audit committee was approved by the general assembly that was held on May 8, 2022, to include Mohammed Aloyaidi, Abdulaziz Al-Hashimi, Mohammed Al-Jaafari and Mohammed Al-Ghamdi.
